Our October Attendance Incentive is a Popcorn Party at the end of the month. All students that have 80% or higher for the month of October will be invited to attend.

A huge shout out to families and students for awesome attendance for the month of September. We appreciate students being here and families making sure their students are at school!

Please note that for Thursdays COLOR WAR our Middle School color is BROWN/TAN and our elementary color is PURPLE.

THURSDAY EVENTS:

5:30pm pst our HS students will be doing out annual CANNED FOOD DRIVE.
*HS STUDENTS ONLY WILL BE FEED BEFORE THIS EVENT*

7:00pm pst we will have our annual Bonfire across the street at the tiny homes. We ask that ALL children/students are supervised by their parents/guardians.

FRIDAY EVENTS:
--REGULAR SCHOOL DAY--
Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 8:00 am in the cafeteria.

9:30 am PARADE STARTS (we do have a map but sometimes the leader gets lost)

All students will be released at 11:30 am. Bus students will leave shortly after the release time.

LOCOMOTIVES vs Wallowa Cougars at 2:30pm pst

Homecoming Court will be announced at Halftime.

Homecoming Dance is from 8:00 pm to 10:00pm.

Due to unforeseen circumstance the HS Locos Football Game this weekend Friday August 29, 2025 in South Wasco has been canceled.

ATTENTION LADY LOCO FANS:

Due to low numbers we will not be having a HS volleyball team. We look forward to seeing what next year will bring us.

Attention Preschool Parents:

Preschool open house will be on Tuesday September 2nd from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

ATTENTION MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL PARENTS : Ms. McKinney will be having a Parent/Guardian meeting on Thursday August 21, 2025 at 3:00pm pst in her classroom. Please check in with the office and you will be directed to the proper meeting place.

We would like to invite families, students, and community members to our Back To School Night on Wednesday, August 13th, from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm, in the gym. Please join us for dinner and a school data and performance presentation. We will have games for students to play outside during the presentation.

🚨SCHOOL NEWS🚨 Starting next Monday July 28th 2025 you can go to the school office between 9am pst and 12pm pst to pick up student paperwork for the school year 2025-2026. Previous students will just need their student profile sheets looked over and signed PLUS an updated emergency contact sheet. New students will need the whole packet including the student records request form filled out. There will be a sign up sheet for HS Football and HS Volleyball. Please if you are interested/wanting to play we need you to sign up for a headcount. **THIS IS NOT REPLACING REGISTRATION THAT IS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 4th** **NO CLASSES OR LOCKERS WILL BE PICKED OR ASSIGNED UNTIL AUGUST 4th**
